Jesus is the only mediator between God the Father, and man.
We do not pray in anyone elses name. Mary, or any other so called RCC saint.
1 Timothy 2:5 (King James Version)
King James Version (KJV)
5For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus;
Hebrews 12:24
And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaketh better things than that of Abel.
Hebrews 8:6
But now hath he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
John 14:13
And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
John 14:14
If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
John 14:26
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
John 15:16
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
The scriptures are very clear, we pray only in the name of Jesus Christ.
The old testament, as well gives warning of not calling on or calling up the dead.
