Godblessyou,

I think I read where a number of pagan religions are being resurrected in your part of the world. Do you know if this is true?

I don't know if you remember back some years ago when the whole ufo craze was going on that they kept finding farm animals in remote areas that had been cut open and organs removed or blood completely drained. They were saying the animals were cut with some type of laser beam and believed aliens did it. Thus why I was shocked they didn't try to blame it on aliens...

Just as in the days of Noah

The Nephillim were around then.Did they survive the flood? some speculate they did. Demonic activity back in the "days" was rampant.
Accelerated demonic activity in the last days as well!

As I understand the Nephillm they were giants resulting from the daughters of man being impregnated by angels. The flood was to destroy these giants and other evil men that had sread their ungodless way over the earth. God saw that if he did not act decisively that all man kind would be lost to evil.

The Nephillim did not survive the flood. It is speculated that the same thing happened again where the daughters of man were impregnated and produced another generation of these godless men.

Also as I understand it this was satans plan to try and stop the birth of Jesus. By corrupting all men no one would be clean enough of spirit to give birth to him.

Myth

Greetings, Adage...

Do not believe in the myth of the Nephillm.

I gather you think the Nephillim in the Bible is a Myth?

Have you ever wondered where the stories and images of the gods and goddesses of the Greeks and Romans originated? There is an old saying about how all myths can be traced back to a truth.

Friends,Y'shua said"Just as" in the days of Noah.He did not say"something like"or kinda like" He said in the Torah,"JUST LIKE the days of Noah.
I was also speculating about if the Nephillim survived.Hebrew Scholars are divided on this as well as Scholars of the New Covenant.
We all know the Greek story of the god who takes a virgin girl and impregnates her.She has a son with powers and strength who saves his people out of conflagarations, etc. Hercules.
Demonic activity increases in the last days.!
Necromancy is alive and well around the planet! People have been saved out of it by Y'shua! Years ago, before I was saved,I had gotten involved with the Occult.I remember A book I had on demonic worship. One section had a "how to" on digging up a JEWISH grave and performing "certain "rituals with it".I was in shock! And I could not understand why the graveyard had to be a Jewish one.
I heard a story a year ago about a necromancer in Briton who became a believer and said she had been having sex with demons.

Sholmo HaMelech(King Solomon) said"Nothing new under the son"
Let G-d's WORD(DAVAR)be true and every man a liar..............

Shalom

The idea of an angel taking the form of a man and coming into contact with man is taught in the book of Hebrews.

"Do not neglect to show hospitality to strangers, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it." Hebrews 13:2

When an angel appeared to a man in the bible he was always described as a man (Judges, Joshua, Daniel, Luke).

Why would the writer of Hebrews tell us to beware of entertaining angels without knowing it if it weren't possible? When does the bible stop meaning what it says plainly?

We all should be careful of over intellectualizing the scripture, in an attempt to avoid the error of gnosticism, as this too is equally an incorrect way of interpreting the plain teachings of Hebrews.

David L....

Would you expound a little on what you are telling us?

Cleveland, as I understand it, the new age thing is pretty much based on paganism.

I personally know another writer who is a high priest in a church of Satan. It absolutely creeped me out when I found this out about him, after being in a group with him several times.

I'm serious! I went home and googled his name, and up popped quite a few sites with his published work...all about how to perpetuate evil and such.

The really creepy thing is that he lays it out very methodically and analytically. He's a very calm, detail-oriented type...not one of those kids in the "Satan rocks" black t-shirts. He clearly puts a lot of thought into what he does, and goes about it very patiently. Very, very scary...

Oh, and what he does for a living: he's a substitute teacher for special needs kids.   I really don't think the school district cares, either...it's in a very liberal city.

Satan knows how to get involved. If there's something happening, he's going to be there, like an uninvited guest.
