U.S. Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice will arrive in the Middle East on Monday for another visit intended to spur the Israeli-Palestinian peace talks. Rice and Israeli officials will discuss Russia’s desire to hold a Middle East peace conference in November, in light of Russia’s recent aggression in Georgia. They’ll also discuss the Israeli-Syrian peace talks.
